(1) Please tell us a little about something you are currently working on/obsessed with:
EXPLORATION. I have been designing professionally for 12 years now and I have seen trends and styles come and go. I am constantly troubled by the internet which has created a culture amongst designers and illustrators where styles are shameless stolen or copied. I make it a point to try really hard
to find my own voice, to push myself and my work to new places… through exploration.

(2) What are the main obstacles you face to working creatively?
I often find that my biggest obstacle is finding my focus in direction for a specific piece of work. The more I learn and see, the more creative options/solutions I find. It’s sometimes complicated to chose the right one to explore.

(3) What do you do to come up with new ideas or when you are having trouble being creative?
I never have this problem. I have too many ideas… Enough to last a lifetime. This may sound egotistical… But please note that I did not say all the ideas are good ones.

(5) What is the future of the T-shirt? (Does it have one?) Why?
The t-shirt definitely has a future. I foresee software that will allow anyone to print anything on a tee from their desktop, or tees that have motion graphics or interchangeable imagery. Not sure how any of this is possible. I’ll leave it to science.
